	If you are planning any change to the exterior of your house, be sure to check with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) before you hire a contractor or go out and buy materials for a do-it-yourself project. Every project is considered individually, regardless of whether or not anyone else in The Springs has done something similar. The Architectural Design Guidelines set the general standards regarding what is permitted and what is not. The ARC interprets those standards as they apply to individual proposals from homeowner.
